Seven Oaks, Nashville, Tennessee

Can you get from there to here?

I'm the only person I know who doesn't like this course.   Looking at those numbers above, I'm not so sure.  If I were to say what I think of it right now they'd both be lower.  I do like the extra 9 they use when they do a 27 hole layout, though.

I'm surprised to find I don't have much to say about this course.  I've played it a fair number of times and it's just never impressed me.  There are certainly some good holes, but the wooded holes tend to run together to me and I never enjoy them very much.

To leap topics, I swear the random play function on my cd player plays the same discs over and over and over again.  What?  Numbing repetition?  Oh, yeah, that is what the wooded holes at Seven Oaks feel like to me.

Hey, I never said these reviews would be comprehensive, consistent, or fair.  These are just my personal impressions of the courses.   It's sort of strange, though, that I have a good view of Two Rivers when its back nine is also a lot of repetition, just in that case it's wide open hillsides over and over again, back and forth across the valley.  Long live Cedar Hill.
